Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering

JOB LOCATION: 2900 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid position]

DUTIES: Design, develop, test, deploy, produce application support, and maintenance with a focus on automation. Architect and design systems using Micro services architecture. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements with engineers and architects to assess, test, validate test environments, test data, and test results. Execute a development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans and strategy. Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Provide Unit Test include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Support applications, solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Support the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Support the technical design, development of cross-functional, and multi-platform application systems. Work with Lead Engineers, Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs of systems. Write code for automated testing and validation. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, automation, configuration management and compliance. Utilize cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef and Terraform. Build web application using Java, Spring, and REST.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation designing, developing, testing, deploying, producing application support, and maintenance with a focus on automation; architecting and designing systems using Micro services architecture; designing and implementing code fixes, validating outcomes against expected results and producing associated reporting; providing Unit Test include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing; supporting the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support; supporting the technical design, development of cross-functional, and multi-platform application systems; enforcing company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, automation, configuration management and compliance; utilize cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef and Terraform; and building web application using Java, Spring, and REST.
