Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Holland, Michigan. In this permanent position, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions, leveraging your technical expertise to drive impactful projects. Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and efficient software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality features.
Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Mentor and support engineers at the beginning of their careers, fostering their technical growth and development.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Drive improvements to existing systems, processes, and tools to enhance performance and reliability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to projects where applicable.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
Implement and maintain backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with ERP platforms and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 7 years of progressive experience in software development, including senior-level responsibilities.
Proficiency in C#, WPF, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linq.
Strong background in backend development within the manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise-level software solutions.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience with Agile methodologies and modern development tools, including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
