Our team partners with other like-minded creators so you will get good exposure to business areas in growing your skillset and career. You will be the go-to expert for keeping our platforms stable, optimized, and ready for growth.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of our on-call rotation schedules and escalations.
  • Attend stand-up, PI planning, Engineering meetings and presentations to share in project updates to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with App team KornShell (ksh) scripts, Docker containers, and application workflows.
  • Review and analyze job logs, addressing failures and implementing preventive solutions.
  • Assist in tuning Java and Python containerized applications.
  • Stay current with fast moving DevOps techniques and projects throughout the organization and industry.
  • Assist in applying container runtime and utility security patches and updates.
  • Support development teams during deployments and production changes.
  • Automate operational tasks using shell scripts or Python.
  • Maintain clear documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.
  • Be comfortable with presenting ideas to improve our platforms and operations; act as second set of eyes in catching problems early.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced shell scripting (KornShell, Bash).
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Docker containers.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and Python runtime environments.
  • Practical experience with AWS S3, AWS Batch, and AWS Lambda.
