Job Description:
- Must exhibit expert-level understanding and use of Linux.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following focuses:
- Deploying, administering, and operating Apache NiFi clusters at enterprise scale.
- Deploying, administering, and operating ESRI ArcGIS environments at enterprise scale.
- Deploying, administering, and operating ElasticSearch/OpenSearch clusters at enterprise scale.
Project overview:
- PDM (Product Data Mart)- team owns the infrastructure for the data lake that collects all of Charter's customer data which is mostly hosted in AWS
- Assist with architectural decisions for optimization for: NiFi, AWS, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch
- Production support and helping with optimization
- Help with deployment and support on data pipeline infrastructure
- Will assist with business as usual requests and tickets
- Participation in on-call rotation required. This is once about every 6 weeks and rarely issues come up, but there needs to be a POC if there is something wrong that needs immediate attention.
