HOW AN ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework that supports the organization's business strategy. This role ensures that technology, processes, information, and IT capabilities are aligned with business goals, enabling digital transformation, operational efficiency, and scalable growth. The Enterprise Architect serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and collaborates closely with business units, IT teams, and solution architects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Business & IT Alignment
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Conduct capability gap analysis to identify areas of improvement across business domains.
  • Evaluate the impact of new technology initiatives on the existing IT landscape and business operations.
  • Technology Planning & Integration
  • Lead enterprise-level design and integration of systems, platforms, and applications.
  • Assess and recommend emerging technologies to support business innovation and agility.
  • Oversee the integration of cloud, SaaS, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for architectural best practices across the enterprise.
  • Mentor solution architects and technical teams to ensure consistency in design and delivery.
  • Present architectural solutions, trade-offs, and risks to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure enterprise architecture complies with cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and operational risk requirements.
  • Establish architecture standards that support secure, scalable, and resilient systems.

Education: Master's Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
Required Experience: 16+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level architecture across multiple domains (business, data, application, technology).
  • Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner) and modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA).

Skills:
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term delivery requirements.

The likely salary range for this position is $165,750 - $224,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
