Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to support a newly approved Master Data Management (MDM) initiative and related enterprise application projects. This role will lead the first phase of an MDM implementation expected to run approximately nine months, with future phases planned but not yet approved.

The Project Manager will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to coordinate application-based projects, guide teams through governance and onboarding processes, and help integrate a new MDM tool across multiple ERP systems. While prior MDM experience is helpful, it is not required; a strong background managing complex IT application projects is essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of an enterprise MDM implementation supporting customer, product, and vendor data domains.
  • Manage project activities across multiple systems and interfaces, including integration with six ERP platforms.
  • Partner with business units to understand end-to-end business processes and ensure solutions align with governance and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on application integrations and data flow between systems.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and apply Agile delivery practices where appropriate.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Support onboarding workflows and multi-step governance processes for vendor and data management initiatives.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities, with the potential to support additional technology initiatives as the organization evolves.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience managing IT application-based projects in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to work across multiple functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and business domains.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred

  • Experience supporting data-related initiatives such as MDM, data governance, or system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Informatica or similar integration platforms.
  • PMP or other project management certification.

 

Additional Details

  • MDM tool selection is still in progress; tool-specific experience is not required.
  • The role will focus more on tool implementation and integration than vendor management.
  • Project Managers may be reassigned to other initiatives over time, though long-term project ownership is typical for strong performers.
