Job Description:
We have an opening in our Managed Services Division for a bright and motivated PeopleSoft Technical/Functional Campus Solutions Application Support Lead for our client in the DC Metro area. You will have a strong focus on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Applications. You will have the skills to provide exceptional support including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and helping our clients gain added benefit from their Oracle PeopleSoft investment. Weekend or evening work required, as needed. This position is remote to anywhere in the United States, but East Coast hours are required. Occasional travel to the client site may be required.
Required Technical Skills:
- Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating functional/technical problems in a production support environment
- Strong skills in PeopleSoft Application Designer
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of the complete PeopleSoft application lifecycle
- Development experience in PeopleSoft, including Application Packages, Application Engine, SQR, Application Designer, Integration Broker, Web Services (REST and SOAP), PeopleCode, Security, PS Queries and PeopleTools 8.58+
- Experience in Page Field Configurator, Fluid, Activity Guide and Workcenters
- Experience in Integration tools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, and SQL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with DBAs, developers, and other technical team members, while also translating complex issues into layman s terms for non-technical clients
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and execute advanced queries, preferably in an Oracle database environment
- Possesses knowledge of PeopleSoft security concepts and configurations
- Perform migrations of objects between databases
- Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with client standards
- Produce business requirements and technical specification documentation for development requests that will be coordinated with offshore team members
Required Functional Skills:
- Functional knowledge is required in the following PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules: Admissions, Academic Advisement, Campus Community, Student Records, Student Financials, and Financial Aid
- Offer functional expertise to advise clients on any of the listed modules
- Collaborate with clients to identify and resolve data issues within any of the listed modules
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience working with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical area and 8 years in Information Technology
- PeopleSoft 9.2 Campus Solutions Techno-Functional skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of the PeopleSoft application
- Experience in the Higher Education industry is required
- Bachelor s degree required or equivalent work experience
- Must be available to work scheduled hours, including (if the job requires it) nights and weekends
- Must be available to travel as needed

Other Skills:
- Prior experience working with offshore delivery models is highly desirable
- Ability to multitask working with multiple clients and sets of requirements concurrently
- Work on all phases of a project - development, testing, production support, etc.
- Meet Service Level Agreements for uptime and performance
- Develop documentation as necessary for knowledge sharing within Sierra-Cedar
- No relocation required. Remote work allowed
