Design Program Manager (Remote - PST Hours Preferred)

About the Role
We re looking for a seasoned Contract Design Program Manager to lead cross-functional design initiatives for a major new product experience launching in 2026. This is a hands-on role where you ll partner with designers, content strategists, researchers, engineers, and product managers to turn strategy into execution.

You ll join a high-impact, fast-paced environment, stepping midstream into a 0-to-1 initiative. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, manage shifting priorities, and foster strong collaboration will be key to success.

This is a remote U.S.-based role, with team operations centered on Pacific Time hours.


What You'll Do

  • Drive design delivery based on an established roadmap.

  • Coordinate with fellow Design Program Managers to ensure alignment across overlapping projects.

  • Communicate project status, changes, and resourcing updates to cross-functional Program Managers.

  • Manage day-to-day project operations kickoff planning, timeline creation, and workback schedules.

  • Keep design leadership informed and aligned on progress, blockers, and strategic decisions.

  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional forums for knowledge sharing and tactical alignment.


What We re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in design program management, preferably within fast-paced tech and creative environments.

  • Strong fluency in product design processes and the value of design in driving business outcomes.

  • Proven ability to join midstream and lead complex 0-to-1 product initiatives from concept through launch and scale.

  • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders in large, evolving program spaces.

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity bringing clarity and momentum to large-scale efforts.

  • Demonstrated influence with design leadership and cross-functional peers.

  • A natural relationship-builder with a collaborative, optimistic, and solutions-focused mindset.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills both verbal and written.

  • Experience in continuous delivery environments and working at a fast operational pace.

  • Emotionally intelligent, open to feedback, and ego-free in your approach.
