Baer is looking for SAP Access Controls GRC Security SME for a 6+ month Federal Remote

Project. Title: SAP Access Controls GRC Security SME
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain SAP Access Controls GRC solutions.
• Configure and manage user access, roles, and permissions within SAP systems.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of user access to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Develop and implement GRC strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR) and industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to design secure SAP solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and practices.
• Implement and maintain security controls, protocols, and configurations.
• Provide training and guidance to IT and business teams on SAP security best practices.
• Raise awareness of security risks and promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
• Monitor and analyze SAP security logs and alerts.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external partners to resolve security issues.
• All roles are part time, 20 hours a week, either meeting/workshop hours will be 9-1 or 1-5, 5 days a week.

Qualifications:

• Resources should have DoD background and be Solution and Process Architect
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Access Controls, GRC, and security.
• Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, principles, and methodologies.
• SAP GRC certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
