Role Overview
We re looking for a Power BI Engineer who can transform raw data into actionable insights through compelling dashboards and reports. This role blends technical expertise with business acumen to support decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into data models.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
- Optimize performance of reports and datasets for scalability and responsiveness.
- Implement row-level security and manage user access within Power BI.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and testing.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI features and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Azure, SharePoint, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Integrate Python in Power BI to perform complex data processing, machine learning, and custom visualizations beyond native Power BI capabilities.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Bonus: Experience with Python, R, or other analytics tools.
- Use Python scripts within Power BI for advanced data cleansing, transformation, statistical analysis, and automation to enhance dashboards and data models.
