Position Overview The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and optimizing enterprise database systems across multiple platforms. This role ensures all database environments align with departmental standards, security policies, and performance benchmarks. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in DB2 for z/OS, Oracle, and SQL Server within large-scale, mission-critical environments.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 15 years of combined DBA experience supporting:
DB2 for z/OS (required)
SQL Server 2008R2, 2012 (required)
Oracle 10g and above (required)
Proven experience with database design, performance management, upgrades, and backup/recovery.
Advanced knowledge of:
DB2 for z/OS integration, tuning, and subsystem recovery.
JCL, ISPF, CA GEN, COBOL, RACF, and CICS.
ASG Scheduler, IOF, and AFOPER commands.
Solid experience with:
Oracle and MSSQL integration and performance.
Verification testing for infrastructure changes.
Disaster Recovery procedures and documentation.
Windows Server, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, and Azure.

Preferred Experience
Familiarity with FDOT integrated database infrastructure and Financial Management applications.
Knowledge of FDOT integrated application environments.
