POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Workstream Lead – Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Reports To: Director of Business Applications & Reporting

JOB SUMMARY

A global organization is currently undergoing a large-scale digital transformation to replace multiple legacy ERP systems with a unified SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud platform and streamlined business processes. The SAP S/4HANA Workstream Lead – O2C will be a key member of the IT Business Applications team, responsible for leading the successful implementation of order-to-cash and related financial processes.

This role involves close collaboration with the SAP implementation partner and stakeholders across sales, service, and finance functions to plan, execute, and support the ERP rollout. Post-deployment, the role ensures users are well-trained, efficient, and compliant with standardized procedures and best practices within the SAP environment.

This position plays a critical role in enabling the organization’s growth and operational efficiency by working with global teams to understand current workflows and support the transition to globally harmonized processes using SAP S/4HANA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learning: Build a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s sales and service operations.
• Planning: Partner with implementation teams and business users during discovery, preparation, and exploration phases to review deliverables, participate in workshops, validate processes, resolve issues, and finalize project scope.
• Implementation: Contribute to system configuration, data migration, environment setup (development, testing, production), testing, user training, and go-live activities.
• Support & Monitoring: Provide post-implementation support, conduct process health checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adoption of standardized practices and system benefits.
• Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP S/4HANA and AI-driven capabilities.
• Order-to-Cash Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales and service processes remain aligned with SAP standards and best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, service, and order-to-cash finance processes within a multinational environment
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing order-to-cash processes in SAP S/4HANA, preferably in the Public Cloud edition
• Proven ability to configure and deploy SAP S/4HANA solutions
• Strong understanding of sales, service, and manufacturing operations

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• SAP S/4HANA Certification
• Multilingual proficiency (German, Portuguese, or other languages is a strong advantage)
• Experience in the metal manufacturing industry
• Comfortable working with globally distributed, multicultural, and multilingual teams
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Capable of mentoring and coaching team members
• Strong skills in relationship management, facilitation, project execution, and problem-solving

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
