Security Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the development, implementation, and tracking of cybersecurity programs and initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional security projects (e.g., identity management, data loss prevention, SOC integration, vulnerability management).
Partner with IT, legal, HR, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of security controls and processes with enterprise goals.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and executive status reporting.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with security initiatives and technologies.
Maintain awareness of current and emerging security threats and industry trends.
Lead internal security audits and support external assessments (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for program effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
5 10 years of experience in information security, project management, or IT leadership roles.
Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, PCI-DSS).
Experience managing cross-functional technical projects or programs.
Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or PMP-certified a plus).
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
