Senior Enterprise Network Architect

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Network Architect to work from our corporate office in Downey, Ca

Skills Required:
A Senior Network Architect should possess a robust technical and strategic skills, with deep expertise in enterprise network design, cloud networking, and security; advanced knowledge of BGP; the ability to build resilient, high-availability network infrastructures.

Skills Preferred:
- Expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and data center solutions such as Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, and ACI.

- Expertise in BGP protocol configuration, including route propagation, route maps, attributes, and policy-based routing.

- Expertise in firewalls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI).

- Proficiency with identifying and resolving complex BGP issues such as route leaks, path selection anomalies, and peering conflicts.

- Proficiency with designing resilient network architectures with high availability, failover, and redundancy strategies for mission-critical systems.

- Proficiency with designing and implementing hybrid cloud connectivity using Megaport, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and Site-to-Site VPNs.

- Proficiency with designing secure network architectures.

- Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure (), and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)).

- Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, encryption, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

- Strong understanding of access control policies, risk mitigation strategies, firewall configurations, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

Work Experience Required:

- Six (6) years of experience within the last eight (8) years in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise network infrastructure, including multi-site and hybrid environments.

- Six (6) years of experience within the last eight (8) years in configuring and managing BGP, Cisco routing and switching, security, data center architecture, and high-availability design.

- Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in architecting and managing cloud environments across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud Platform), including VPC/VNet design, cloud routing, peering, security, and network automation.

Education/Training Required:

This classification requires the possession of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), AND AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.
