Job Description:
Job Title: Calibration Release Coordinator - Automotive Engineering

Location: Metro Detroit Area, MI (Remote/Hybrid options available)

Duration: January 1 - December 31, 2026

Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time)
Project Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Release Coordinator to support the release process for powertrain calibration programs in the 2026 calendar year. This role involves managing release documentation, coordinating with engineering teams, and supporting internal systems and workflows related to calibration data and approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage calibration release checklists across multiple vehicle programs.
  • Coordinate parameter list setup and maintenance based on program roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate sign-off processes for additional parameter restrictions (APR).
  • Support technical documentation workflows, including white paper creation and review coordination.
  • Track program status and ensure timely submission of test requests.
  • Interface with engineering teams to resolve issues and ensure release readiness.
  • Provide oversight and support for internal calibration systems and tools.
Required Skills:
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills across cross-functional teams and management levels.
  • Ability to quickly learn and operate within custom engineering applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with calibration release systems or tools (e.g., CFX or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Prior experience in automotive calibration or release coordination.
Additional Information:

All necessary hardware, software, and system access will be provided. The role does not require direct calibration work or data ownership but focuses on supporting the release process and ensuring alignment across engineering teams.
