Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis (FEA, CFD) to validate designs.
Create detailed 2D/3D drawings and technical documentation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, and software teams to integrate mechanical systems.
Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical design issues, and implement effective solutions.
Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, and mechanical processes to optimize performance and cost.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reviews.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in product design and manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
[X]+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, thermodynamics, mechanics, and materials.
Experience with design analysis tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, MATLAB, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, or 3D printing.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ISO, or GD&T.
Experience in [industry-specific skills, e.g., HVAC systems, robotics, automotive parts].
