Job Details
Position Title: Conference Room Technology Analyst
Location: Onsite Washington, DC (5 days/week)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Conference Room Technology Analyst to support and enhance our audio-visual infrastructure across conference and situation rooms. This role involves a mix of hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of AV solutions, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Teams Rooms, Surface Hub, and PolyCom systems. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications and have experience managing AV projects and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and commission AV solutions in conference and situation rooms.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Surface Hub, PolyCom, Crestron, Biamp, and Zoom technologies.
- Manage AV-related tickets and tasks using ServiceNow.
- Coordinate with vendors for installation, maintenance, and upgrades of AV equipment.
- Apply ITIL principles in incident and asset management processes.
- Maintain documentation for AV setups, configurations, and support procedures.
- Support integration and optimization of collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom).
- Assist in project coordination for AV deployments and refreshes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated technical experience in AV and conference room technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Surface Hub, PolyCom, Teams Rooms, Crestron, Biamp, and Zoom Rooms.
- CTS Certification (strict requirement).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticketing and asset tracking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in vendor management and AV project coordination.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and their application in AV environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional AV vendor certifications.
- Experience with AV system integrations and legacy conference room technologies.
- Knowledge of network and infrastructure components related to AV systems.
