Job Type: W2 Contract only, no C2C/1099
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $42/hr Firm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Field Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role involves configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment across a large healthcare network, including 24 hospitals and 300 clinics throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Field Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role involves configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment across a large healthcare network, including 24 hospitals and 300 clinics throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco switches in accordance with company standards and templates.
- Perform network troubleshooting and support for Cisco Routing and Switching environments.
- Conduct wireless site surveys and manage Wi-Fi access points and LAN controllers.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities across the DFW area to provide on-site network support.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure network reliability and performance.
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Access Layer switches and wireless networking.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regional travel.
- Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCNA, Network+, Security+
- Experience with Cisco ISE/TrustSec and Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC)
- Familiarity with Avaya and VoIP technologies
- Daily travel required to healthcare facilities across the DFW metroplex.
