3Core Systems is looking for an SAP S/4 Hana Developer for one of our clients in Miramar, FL, or Dallas, TX (3/2 Hybrid)

Job Title: SAP S/4 Hana Developer
Location: Miramar, FL or Dallas, TX (3/2 Hybrid)
Duration: 6-12 months + (C2H)

Interview Timeline: Wants to start interviewing ASAP

Details

  • Nature of Work: Hands-on developer role (not architecture). Focused on:
    • S/4HANA operational reporting
    • Embedded analytics
    • CDS Views (creation, optimization, and maintenance)
    • Fiori analytical apps and in-app reporting
    • Data modeling within S/4

Project Overview

  • Part of an S/4HANA transformation/implementation at Southern.
  • Candidates will:
    • Partner with business users to review requirements and functional specs.
    • Develop operational reports using embedded analytics and CDS Views.
    • Build Fiori apps/dashboards for real-time reporting.
    • Support testing and go-live activities.
  • Reporting spans finance, supply chain, and commercial processes.

Skills & Experience Sought

  • Strong experience in:
    • S/4HANA embedded analytics & operational reporting.
    • CDS Views (building, optimizing, and maintaining).
    • Fiori analytical applications.
    • Data modeling and understanding of SAP base tables.
  • Exposure to:
    • SAP Datasphere (highly recommended; ~25 50% of role for at least one of the positions).
    • BW or other analytics/reporting tools (not required but beneficial).
  • Must be hands-on and able to work with users and implementation partners.

Other Notes

  • Two similar roles: one position requires stronger Datasphere experience; the second is more focused on core S/4 embedded reporting.
  • Location requirement: Strong preference for local candidates (Miramar or Dallas) due to hybrid schedule and potential long-term conversion to FTE.
  • Interview process: 30-minute interview (possible second round if needed).

Setup and configure embedded analytics functionalities with S/4HANA
Design operational reporting guidelines and strategies tailored to business needs
Create CDS Views and tailoring existing and standard models to deliver specific insights
Develop user friendly reports and dashboard using Fiori for real-time operations business insights
Build training and educate end users on how to utilize analytics tools effectively
Ensure optimized performance of analytics functionalities, fine tuning as required
