Top Skills' Details
- 8-10+ years of experience with hands on development with Scala and Spark. This role will require hands on development with Scala and Spark. Scala is the top programming requirement for this role. Bulk of the work this AWS architect will support is with Apache Spark/Scala programming language.

3. Strong engineer that writes code, knows framework and can review the architecture and help when they get stuck
4. Experience with AWS Airflow, Amazon Aurora, AWS Redshift
Job Description
Need a strong AWS data architect with very strong coding skills.
Will fill in the gap of Nadia (solution architect) and Dane Allen (cloud architect) rolling off the PDM Team by end of Q1
Principal responsibilities:
Design end to end PDP data solutions. Experience architecting in an AWS environment (S3, EC2, etc)
Design and optimization of AWS databases (Aurora, Redshift, RDS)
Data heavy experience. Will be responsible for making design changes to PDM & Symphony databases, designing solutions, troubleshooting data, etc.
Strong AWS coding skills (scala, java, python, ruby, JSON, XML, etc).
on-prem to cloud data migration and ETL experience
