Position Summary
BGI is seeking qualified Mandarin Chinese Linguist Support Specialists to support the EC-130H and EA-37B aircrew training program at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. These positions involve providing advanced language expertise, instructional support, and mission-relevant training services in a secure operational environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide language instruction and support in Mandarin Chinese, with an emphasis on maintaining ILR Level 3 proficiency in reading and listening.
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of training aligned with program requirements and mission objectives.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of courseware and training materials for both classroom and secure-network instruction
- Support simulator scenario development by identifying and preparing relevant cryptologic language and signals content.
- Perform translation and transcription of mission-related materials while ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
- Collaborate with military and civilian staff to ensure training effectiveness and mission relevance.
- Maintain required language proficiency through government-administered testing and continuous professional engagement.
Required and/or Preferred Qualifications

Required
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- ILR Level 3 proficiency in reading and listening in at least one required language, validated via DLPT or equivalent within 90 days of hire
- ILR Level 2+ minimum in English (reading and listening)
- Associate degree from an accredited institution
- Previous experience as a cryptologic language analyst within the intelligence community
Desired
- Intelligence community experience within the past five years
- Experience collecting, processing, and exploiting cryptologic intelligence
- Background in developing cryptologic or linguist-focused training materials
- Prior classroom instruction experience, preferably in a government or military training setting
