Job Title: PeopleSoft Finance Consultant
Location: Hybrid, Michigan: 2-3 days/week in person
Type: [Full-Time / Contract]
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Consultant to support and optimize our PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment. The ideal candidate will analyze, configure, and enhance financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reporting, while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

Configure, implement, and optimize PeopleSoft Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, etc.).

Develop custom reports, interfaces, and workflows to meet business requirements.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Analyze current financial processes and recommend system improvements.

Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to implement solutions.

Assist with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and optimization projects.

Provide end-user support and training on financial processes and system functionality.

Lead financial system optimization and transformation projects.

Work with a collaborative team on cutting-edge financial processes.

Required Skills:

5+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Financials (version 9.2 preferred).

Strong understanding of core financial processes: GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Billing.

Experience with PeopleSoft customizations, reports (PS Query, XML Publisher), and workflow optimization.

Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with eProcurement, Cash Management, or Project Costing modules.

Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, PUM images, or integration tools.

Familiarity with automation/RPA tools in finance processes.
