Job Description:
A Dynamics 365 Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within an organization leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365. They work to understand, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for the Dynamics 365 platform, ensuring that the implemented solution effectively addresses the organization's goals.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (department heads, end-users, management) to elicit, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and other elicitation techniques to gain a deep understanding of current business processes and pain points.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between existing processes and desired future states, and how Dynamics 365 can bridge these gaps.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Create process flows, use cases, user stories, and other visual aids to clearly represent business requirements and proposed solutions.
- Work closely with technical teams (Project manager, Architect, developers, functional consultants) to design and configure Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Assist in the configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 applications, including entities, forms, workflows, and business rules.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards (often using tools like Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, or Excel) to provide insights into system performance, usage, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Various process improvements to integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365-Siebel and other platform integrations
- Utilizing Teams for collaboration and communications instead of email-based work
- Strong communicator across verbal, in person, graphical and document-centric formats
- Strong organization skills
