Position: Client Partner for IT Services - New Logos Hunter role

Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Hartford, CT)

Overview

We are looking for a highly driven new-business sales professional who excels at building relationships from the ground up. This is a pure hunter-focused role, responsible for opening new accounts and expanding our presence within targeted industries.

Key Responsibilities

New Logo Acquisition

  • Proactively identify, approach, and secure new mid-market and enterprise clients within priority verticals.
  • Lead the complete sales lifecycle-from researching prospects and initiating contact to preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements.
  • Build strong connections with senior executives and decision-makers, including CIOs and other technology leaders.
  • Effectively articulate and position the company's IT consulting, staffing, and professional services offerings to prospective clients.

General Sales Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts through CRM tools.
  • Work closely with internal delivery, recruitment, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with client expectations.
  • Keep current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to better position offerings in the market.

Required Background & Skills

  • 7 15 years of experience in B2B sales within IT consulting, technology services, or IT staffing.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and successfully closing new accounts.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, consulting models, and project-based delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Comfortable navigating long, strategic sales cycles and engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM platforms for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and effective in a rapid-paced, evolving work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with modern IT technologies-such as Application Development, Automation, AWS cloud solutions, and Data/Analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks).
