What You Will Do
- Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models focused on computer vision and predictive analytics.
- Optimize AI/ML model performance on specialized Android-based IoT devices and embedded systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, compliance, and product teams to integrate AI models into production workflows.
- Evaluate new AI/ML technologies and industry trends to enhance business capabilities and product innovation.
- Implement and validate explainable and interpretable AI methodologies for healthcare regulatory compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Document technical designs, decisions, and model performance metrics to meet compliance and audit requirements.
- Participate in the design and continuous improvement of AI-driven solutions ensuring privacy, security, and scalability.
- Engage in regular knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and mentoring within the technical team.
What You Need (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline & 2+ years of work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and popular ML frameworks/libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with computer vision techniques and frameworks (e.g., YOLO, OpenCV).
- Familiarity with deploying ML models on edge devices or embedded hardware, especially Android-based platforms.
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired)
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
- Experience within regulated industries (healthcare, medtech) and understanding of SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud platforms, including model deployment and management.
- Understanding of WebRTC and network flow for real-time data analytics.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, and data optimization in MongoDB or BigQuery.
- Experience with model explainability and compliance documentation for AI systems.
- Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) for projects.
- Experience with tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing software Integration and deployment processes.
