Job Title: API Integration Engineer

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated API Integration Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS Lambda to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building scalable APIs, writing clean and efficient code, and developing technical solutions that integrate with legacy systems. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, works well independently, and is passionate about modern cloud-native development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and extract data from complex legacy systems independently
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and AWS Lambda
- Deliver clean, modular, and unit-tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal guidance
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and scrum/project managers
- Contribute to architecture and solution design in a cloud environment
- Follow Agile development practices and CI/CD workflows
- Participate in planning, design, and documentation efforts
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development
- Proven experience building and documenting REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, especially Lambda
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
- Experience with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Ability to analyze and reverse-engineer legacy systems for data extraction
- Skilled with tools like Git and Docker
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Self-driven, fast learner, and problem-solver
- Prior consulting experience is a plus
