Software Development III – Fusion Specialist
Location: Remote (Standard work hours, EST 9–5)

Job Description
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to support enterprise application development within the Chief Information Office (CIO) group. In this role, you will focus on maintaining and enhancing an internal enterprise application, Fusion, which supports business functions including program execution, finance, and HR.
The position will involve working closely with other developers and business analysts, handling bug fixes, small enhancements, and supporting tickets. This role requires someone who can adapt quickly to internal processes, collaborate effectively with teammates, and contribute to ongoing enterprise application initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Support bug fixes and small enhancements within the Fusion application
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to implement updates
• Work directly with internal customers to understand technical needs
• Develop and maintain .NET web applications and SQL Server backend components
• Optimize performance of queries, schemas, and database objects
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in daily calls
Required Experience/Skills
• Proficiency with Angular, .Net MVC Core, and Microsoft Entity Framework
• Experience with SQL Server 2021 schema design, stored procedures, and query optimization
• Strong T-SQL programming skills
• Prior experience supporting enterprise applications in a development role
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and deliver incremental enhancements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with additional modern client-side frameworks such as React, Blazor, Telerik, or Kendo UI
• Familiarity with UI design, wireframing, or prototyping
• Prior exposure to large enterprise or government contracting environments
Education
BS and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience
