Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineer 3 - IT Staffing Services
Front End/UI
Contract
Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Candidates must have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Front-end/UI development using Angular and/or similar frameworks on the J2EE platform.
- All phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- UI development for implementing authentication, authorization, and caching strategies.
- Programming languages and frameworks including: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, and Maven.
- Developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level front-end applications with a full understanding of the front-end stack.
- Implementing client-facing applications with responsive design.
- Developing single-page applications (SPAs) with JavaScript or frameworks like Angular.
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Understanding and applying fundamental programming concepts like data structures, algorithms, performance, caching, and scalability in web UI applications.
- Developing and testing application user interfaces for ADA/Accessibility compliance.
- Implementing best practices in application design, performance, and scalability.
- Test-driven development using frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have:
- 5 years of experience with Spring Boot Java Applications.
- 5 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
- 5 years of experience with Agile Development Methodologies (Scrum).
- 5 years of experience with web applications developed for a Cloud platform.
- 5 years of experience with CI/CD methodology.
- 5 years of development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
