Job Details

Our direct client, a fast-growing digital healthcare company based in NY, is looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead the development and execution of the BI strategy. As a key member of our data team, you will play a crucial role in shaping how we leverage data to drive informed decision-making in the dynamic field of clinical trials. We are seeking an organized individual who thrives under pressure and excels at multi-tasking. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving, solution-driven approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide leadership to major analytical and BI projects with multiple stakeholders. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Develop appropriate employee and management communication plans as necessary.
  • Tableau Server Administration: Be the lead Tableau server administrator and site manager. Manage and coordinate all server upgrades, troubleshooting and site development including user-level security maintenance.
  • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards. Implement measures to enhance overall data quality and reliability. Lead quality assurance initiatives across the organization.
  • Project Management: Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of major analytical projects, including detailed project planning and update tracking. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders. Coordinating with cross-functional team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Assess and recommend BI tools and technologies that enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities. This individual will oversee the implementation and integration of selected BI solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience as an Analytics Manager or Project Manager with focus on delivering BI solutions for a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced database query skills required with a proficiency in Tableau or other self-service BI tools. Tableau certification a plus.
  • Analytical ability is required to design highly complex clinical and financial systems and programs and professional principles in performing various analyses and summarize the information and data for problem-solving purposes.
  • Extensive experience with data request prioritization and technology specification development including writing SQL codes and/or queries. Experience with cloud preferred.
  • Prior experience facilitating presentations to all levels of the organization is required.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills along with strong project management skills are required.
  • The ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly peers, team members, other departments, patients, and the community is required.
  • Project Management certification a plus.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Extremely detailed, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
