Job: Senior IT Applications & Security Automation Specialist
Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with information system user areas to analyse, identify, select, design and implement employee information computer applications. Continue to maintain existing applications. Coordinate activities between the users areas and application programmers.
- Provide a lead role in the development/enhancement process and assist in training and developing other analysts. Interface with end-users and user management to identify and document processing needs and valid requirements for new development and enhancements of applicable information system applications.
- Has 5 or more years experience in either PC or mainframe applications and development.
- Designs, implements, and maintains security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) playbooks using the Splunk SOAR platform to enhance cybersecurity operations efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluates security processes, prepares automation workflows and playbooks, and recommends SOAR-based solutions to streamline incident response capabilities.
- Prepares technical specifications, integration diagrams, and coordinates implementation of automated security responses. Analyses cybersecurity business processes and practices to focus the design and implementation of SOAR automation solutions that meet security operational needs and business initiatives.
- Duties and tasks are frequently varied requiring both technical automation expertise and cybersecurity domain knowledge. 5+ years of cybersecurity and automation
