This is an exciting immediate contract position. This is with a major media company in Manhattan, NY. Prior experience in a broadcast or media environment would be a plus but not required.
Entertainment/Media company searching for on-site AV Support Technician.
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in New Jersey, LA, Atlanta, New York, Raleigh, and more.
Duties
- Provide solutions, facilitations, and apply knowledge of Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams web
conferencing applications, and VoIP (Voice Over IP) for live meetings and recorded sessions. - Test connectivity and signal flow of conference rooms with proper AV solutions integrated into the network infrastructure.
- Document set up and arrangement of conference rooms post installations to ensure AV quality across the enterprise.
- Troubleshooting, resolution, and setup of A/V equipment, video conferencing, touch screen, telephony, and
- related multimedia equipment (Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, etc.).
- Resolution of user-related A/V issues (L1/L2) and fulfillment of any requested AV peripherals to be available
and setup properly for users. - Scheduling and coordination of conference rooms that includes setting up conference rooms prior to the start
of a conference. - Monitor and facilitate conferences, including the operation of the system and A/V peripherals when required.
- Onboarding and moves of new and existing conference rooms and A/V equipment installations.
- Provide immediate end-user and C-suite support.
- Track equipment failure and equipment that needs to be replaced.
- Train users/potential users on the usage of systems.
- Assist with scheduling and establishing multipoint video connections.
- Utilize ticketing system ServiceNow (SNOW) or other methods for issue tracking, deliverable status,
and managing resolution status and timelines with stakeholders. - Update the Project Manager with ad hoc project changes and risk as needed to ensure deliverables
remain on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Track and Maintain service tickets using ServiceNow
- Report any challenges, roadblocks immediately to Manager
- Provide end user support in a fast paced environment
The US base range for this contract position is $38-$45/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
