Notes:

Beyond Microsoft, it would be ideal if they ve implemented software, programs, technologies at other organizations (does not necessarily matter which ones). Their trainers work through the initial training plan all the way through implementation and end user training. They are responsible for all phases. An individual with this level of experience would be ideal. I had also mentioned eLearning development would be a plus.

Technical Trainer works heavily with Project Management team

Training on multiple technical projects such as:

Phase 1 of Salesforce implementation

ACH Positive Pay project

Escrow Project

Banking or Financial institution background is a huge plus, but prior person in the role did not have this

Salesforce experience would be extremely helpful

Sharepoint, LMS Systems, Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge for project plans, user guides, job aids, e-learning (they use articulate, but another ex is Camtasia)

Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Trainer designs, develops and delivers training, both instructor-led and eLearning in support of strategic projects and initiatives.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Collaborates and communicates with business lines and external vendors to identify technical training needs and gaps across the organization
  • Executes on training solutions to support initiatives within the Project Management Office and Human Resources departments
  • Ensures that business processes and systems are adopted across the organization with minimal impact to daily production and the customer experience
  • Delivers all or a portion of the initial training, ensuring a positive learner experience, provides train-the-trainer assistance, and plans for training reinforcements and sustainment
  • Leverages and analyzes training data to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities
  • Manages logistical aspects of training programs, including within CSB s Learning Management System, to ensure operational efficiency
  • Leads meetings with business line managers and vendors, creates training plans and agendas related to technical initiatives
  • Assists department with projects and initiatives as assigned and in support of strategic plan
  • Proactively seeks knowledge expertise in the technical training environment as well as general business trends and practices to enhance offerings and practices
  • Applies knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles
  • Performs additional duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years experience designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating instructional design programs
  • Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and virtual training platforms
  • Ability to quickly understand technical subject matter and platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to leverage available data to make informed decisions and communicate with key stakeholders
  • Experience with e-learning technology; Articulate Storyline preferred
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design techniques and customer experience concepts
  • Strong process and project management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and independently within established timeframes
  • Excellent written and oral communication, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Exhibits a relationship centric mindset, establishes, and maintains effective working relationships across the organization
