Workday Financials Analyst

The workday Financials Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the workday financials modules. This role will work closely wit finance teams to ensure that the system is aligned with business processes and provides accurate financial information.

Responsibilities:

Financial Process Analysis:
- Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation using Workday Financials
- Document and map business requirements to workday financials configurations
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand their needs and provide solutions

Workday Configuration:
- Configure workday financials modules, GL, AP, AR and FA
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system

Testing and validation:
- Develop an execute test cases to validate workday, financials, configurations, and integrations
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing

User training and support
- Provide training and support finance users on workday financials
- Develop user documentation and training materials
- Resolve user inquiries and issues promptly

System enhancements
- Collaborate with finance teams to identify and implement system enhancements
- Stay up-to-date on workday, financials updates, and best practices

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience and financially accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and processes
- Experience with workday financials modules
- Strong and little problem, solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred qualifications
- Workday certifications
- Knowledge of calculated fields
- Experience with financial reporting tools
