Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will bring over 12 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications. This is a fully onsite role that requires strong technical leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications while introducing modern tools and practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
  • Strong experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, design patterns, and best coding practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
