Job Description
You will be the Engineering Technology Manager / Hardware Design & Analysis Functional Manager for our high-profile missile program team. Our team is responsible for overseeing the development, production, and futures activities of tactical hardware, software, and firmware, ensuring technical excellence and program execution.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Engineering Technology Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical engineers and providing technical leadership and expertise in system requirements analysis, integration, and test. You will oversee a team of 7-12 direct reports and 30+ indirect reports, driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution across multiple departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing technical leadership and expertise in system requirements analysis, integration, and test
Reviewing and overseeing top-level assembly drawings/configurations, coordinating among various IPTs and engineering disciplines
Managing and supporting Mechanical Design Engineering teams at multiple facilities
Developing and managing team members, supporting department initiatives and directorate undertakings
Driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution across multiple departments

Proven experience in Mechanical Design Leadership and customer interaction on large development program

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
