job summary:


  • 10 plus years of Java experience with Spring Frameworks
  • Developer will be part of an Agile team developing, supporting, enhancing and implementing Code for the Document, Content Record Services (DCRS) Document Delivery Team.
  • Resource will work on a Document Management System (DMS) POC to convert the DMS web services from WAS 9 to Tomcat 10 (JDK17).
  • Expected result of work done: Successful migration of code to Tomcat using Spring6.x framework

responsibilities:


  • Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
  • Knowledge on setting up certificates, integrations with WAS and Tomcat.
  • Upgrading from Spring 5.x to Spring 6.x versions
  • Converting EJBs to Tomcat deployable components.
  • Should have broad JAVA/J2EE knowledge and working experience.
  • Should have REST and SOAP Services knowledge and working experience.
  • Should have IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) knowledge and working experience.
  • Knowledge of Tomcat 10.

  • Triage, troubleshooting, and correction of code defects
  • Ability to develop, review and comment on written technical documentation.
