About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team in Vero Beach. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA and local codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair system issues promptly and accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure systems meet NFPA and local code requirements.
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing fire alarm systems.
- Must have experience with popular systems such as:
- Honeywell / Notifier
- Siemens
- Edwards EST
- Fire-Lite
- Silent Knight
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
