Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect

Location: Washinton, DC(Onsite)
Client: federal government


Required public trust clearance

 

Lead a group of engineers in a multi-account and complex network environment to deliver services to customers, maintain and update infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and modernize preexisting environments.

- Lead cloud migration efforts by providing technical knowledge and expertise to customers.

- Provide guidance on AWS service usage, cost optimization, and cloud-native architecture best practices.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation.

- Ensure alignment with Zero Trust Architecture, TIC 3.0, and agency specific policies.

- Support the development of cloud security plans, including ATO packages and continuous monitoring strategies.

 

10+ years experience in IT with at least 5 years focused on AWS cloud architecture.

- Strong experience with scripting and troubleshooting code in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience leading a team of engineers in a cloud and/or hybrid-cloud environment.

- Experience working on federal government projects and knowledge of federal cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP).

- AWS-based certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect). 07/03/2025

- Direct experience implementing artificial intelligence (AI) cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon BedRock, Azure OpenAI, Lex, Comprehend, etc.) to include Large Language Model and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology.

- Demonstrated experience designing an evaluated Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)

 

Master s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
