The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting all A/V equipment. This role is crucial for supporting both daily operations and high-profile events, including executive meetings and offsite functions.

responsibilities:
- Deliver, set up, test, and operate a variety of A/V equipment for meetings and events, including microphones, cameras, and displays.
- Provide specialized, high-touch technical support for executive meetings and presentations, ensuring flawless execution.
- Manage and support A/V requirements for offsite events, which may include travel and unique venue setups.
- Provide technical support for virtual and hybrid meetings, ensuring the smooth operation of platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Assist presenters and meeting participants with using conference room technology and virtual meeting software.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, quickly resolving technical issues related to A/V hardware and software.
- Coordinate equipment by lifting and moving it between different areas of the facility.
- Advise speakers and presenters on media alternatives and best practices for virtual presentations.
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Attend all designated training programs (classroom and virtual).
qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Skills & Aptitude
Technical Skills: Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams is essential. Familiarity with the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard electronic devices is also required.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be a professional, positive, and respectful communicator who works well with coworkers, clients, and vendors. You must have a strong sense of ownership over your work and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Discretion and a calm demeanor under pressure are essential.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and move frequently.
Must be able to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and/or pull.
