Program Planner and Forecast Lead (Planisware)
Title: Planisware Project Manager
Location: Cambridge, MA
Remote / Hybrid Schedule: Commutable to Cambridge is ideal and client will pay for travel expenses
Duration: 12 months with potential for extension (could be up to 2 years)
- Need a Strong Planisware Implementation PM
- Onsite 1 week a month, expenses paid by client
- Pay rate : Open
- Type: W2 only
Program Planner and Forecast Lead (Planisware)
Must Haves:
- 5+ Experience with Planisware planning and forecasting, including timeline development and management, resource management and cost forecasting in Planisware.
- Experience with the Planisware functional plan/IPP approach, and in-depth understanding of the interdependencies of functional plan design, activity-level planning, and algorithm usage in resource management.
- Proficient in storytelling to bring the forecast data to life to a non-technical audience, to understand the business aspects of the programs and portfolio.
- Experience with change management as there will be a challenge around user adoption (Scientists and technical people will have a way of doing things and this will change how they do product development moving forward)
- Methodology is more Agile but not tied to a particular approach
- 8-10 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with experience in supporting functional lines (Clinical, CMC, Clinical Supply, R&D as examples), with an ability to see the bigger picture (Portfolio Management)
- Proficient in cost forecasting business processes to support functions and annual planning
QUALIFICATIONS
- The successful candidate will be an innovative and collaborative individual who thrives in a get it done type of environment with a strong track record of hands-on experience in successful functional management with the following mix of personal and professional characteristics:
5+ years experience with Planisware Enterprise software (not Planisware Orchestra)
8-10 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with experience in supporting functional teams with change management to Planisware
- Ability to manage Budget, Forecast to actuals
- Formal project management training (PMP Preferred) and leadership training
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Strong diplomacy skills as well as executive presence
- Ability to preemptively identify issues and risks as well as develop mitigation options
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others in a highly matrixed organization
- Passionate, persistent and tenacious. Strong ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency
- Trustworthy with highest integrity, committed to ethics and scientific standards.
