Senior Report developer
Remote
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems.
- Conduct technical architecture reviews and provide guidance on reporting best practices.
- Ensure high code quality through regular code reviews, and continuous development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and delivery timelines.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, deployment, monitoring, and incident management.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and innovation.
Required Skills & Experience:
Sigma Computing:
- Capturing all the requirements and clarifications from the client.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and querying
- Design and develop reports/dashboards using Sigma computing reporting tools.
- Good to have hands on experience on Snowflake data engineering.
- Must have good hands-on experience on sql.
- Candidate must follow Azile process and sprint schedules
- Good to have health care domain knowledge.
- Good to have work experience on onshore and offshore models
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake
Backend Development:
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design
- Strong experience with one or more backend languages: Py spark, Python
Cloud & Infrastructure:
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Senior Report developer (e.g. Sigma Computing , SSRS)
- Track record of delivering complex report development
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
