Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties

Client Construction and Forestry is seeking a Technical Instructor. In this position, the person will:

  • Develop and deliver parts and technical certification courses for Client s compact construction equipment product line
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers to create training and materials
  • Collaborate with Deere and Dealer personal to align training deliverables.

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience

  • Hands on experience diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, communication network, power train and engines systems using schematics and electronic diagnostic tools
  • Experience developing training content based on defined learning objectives using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience delivering training materials in a classroom setting
  • Ability to work within a team environment and lead a team to meet delivery dates.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills, Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience

  • Experience with construction equipment in roadbuilding and site development applications
  • Experience in the training and development field related to instructional design, needs assessment and curriculum development.
  • Experience working directly with heavy equipment customers and/or the dealer network.
