Scrum Master
The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's building critical applications. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that'll modernize our military.

On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, effective story writing, and retrospectives.

In this role, you'll directly impact Navy submarines by enhancing processes, connecting systems, and modernizing applications. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in scrum software development while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with working on multi-team Agile Scrum
  • Experience with sof tware development and product lifecycles, including Scrum and Agile development te chn iques
  • Experience with coordinating, organizing, and facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
  • Ability to recognize and perform timely impediment recognition and escalation, including following issues through to completion
  • Ability to ensure the product owner knows how to arrange the product backlog to maximize value and teach te chn iques for effective product backlog management
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Scrum Professional ( CSP ) Certification


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working on DoD government projects
  • Experience with Agile facilitation, training, or public speaking
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team-building skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
