Position: Pega Lead Business Architect
Location: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid / Onsite as required)
Experience: 12+ Years
Certification: PEGA Business Architect Mandatory (Minimum 3 years POST certification experience)
Job Description
The Pega Lead Business Architect will lead multiple teams consisting of developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to convert business requirements, process flows, use cases, and integration documents into a fully functional Pega application.
This role will act as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technologists, working closely with the Lead System Architect and leadership team to align business and technical strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience

  • 9+ years of Business Analysis or related experience

  • 9+ years of Use Case Development

  • 9+ years as a Pega Business Architect with minimum 3 years post-certification experience

  • Strong experience managing functional requirements throughout the SDLC

  • 9+ years working in an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Experience documenting requirements, functional design, test cases, and training materials

  • Experience with enterprise-level configuration and deployment

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Bachelor s degree (4-year college) or equivalent technical education

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between Business and Technology teams

  • Gather and translate user stories into business requirements

  • Work with Product Owners, Stakeholders, ATCSU, and Lead BAs

  • Translate business vision into technical solutions

  • Participate in Agile sprints, sprint planning, and backlog reviews

  • Define acceptance criteria and support testing activities

  • Lead and mentor Business Analysts and Agile teams

  • Develop documentation, training materials, wireframes, and release notes

  • Identify and mitigate project risks

  • Lead client workshops and training sessions
