Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP RAR to support complex revenue recognition requirements.
- Integrate RAR with SD (Sales & Distribution), FI/CO, and BRIM modules.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to revenue recognition and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 accounting standards.
- Perform data migration, reconciliation, and validation of revenue-related transactions.
- Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and reports.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to revenue recognition.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Billing, and IT to ensure solution consistency and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of SAP Finance / Controlling experience with at least 2+ years of SAP RAR hands-on implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Accounting principles (IFRS 15 / ASC 606).
- Experience in RAR 1.3 / 2.0 / 3.0 versions and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with SD, FI-GL, FI-AR, and CO-PA integration.
- Understanding of data migration tools (LTMC, BODS) and revenue data reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting.
- Experience with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) or Hybris Billing.
- Exposure to SAP Central Finance (CFIN) integration.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Prior experience in Telecom, High-Tech, or Subscription-based industries is a plus
