American Computer Services Inc. (ACS) is hiring a Threat Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for the threat intelligence tools and platforms utilized to collect and disseminate Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI). In this role, you will support the Security Operations Center (SOC), collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data to produce reports to identify threats.
You MUST be an individual of high integrity and be a model of unwavering integrity to others.
You MUST have a strong understanding of cyber security technologies and strategies, including:
- MITRE ATT&ACK framework.
- Attack surface management.
- Security processes.
- Best-practice logging/monitoring.
- OSINT.
- Incident response.
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience collecting and disseminating CTI.
- Experience compiling reports and translating the content into actionable activities for SOC analysts, threat hunters, information technology staff, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating and communicating CTI with external partners.
- Proven technical knowledge of threat actor motives, targets, and tactics and how to investigate, mitigate, and defend against them.
Day-to-Day:
- Develop and maintain priority intelligence requirements.
- Collect and maintain intelligence data.
- Analyze threat data.
- Assess threats/risks to state and local governments and other partners.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and respond to cyber threats including:
- Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) threat actors use.
- Indicators of compromise.
- Actions to detect, contain, or prevent attacks.
- Findings from the analysis of incidents.
- Use and maintain CTI tools and platforms.
Education / Certification:
- Bachelor s degree in a Computer Science or relevant field.
- You will need one or more of the following (CISSP | CISA | GSEC):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA).
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
Soft skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivation, time management, and analytical thinking.
