Description

SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician IV in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Test, troubleshoot, & repair complex electronic assemblies.
  • Provide Depot Level Repair of US Navy and Royal Australian Air Force Assets.
  • Overhaul WRA/SRAs in support of ALQ-99, ALQ-249, ALQ-218, ALQ-240 as well as other systems as needed.
  • Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment.
  • Prepare inputs for test plans/Review test plans and procedures.
  • Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing.
  • Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's Degree and 2 or more years of experience; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
  • Ability to read engineering diagrams and drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools.

DESIRED:
  • Soldering experience.
