We're seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Martech and Marketing Performance to join our Consumer Marketing & Growth team, which drives marketing across the Bloomberg Media portfolio-including Bloomberg.com, video and audio platforms, live experiences, and more. In this role, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of our marketing technology stack and performance analytics capabilities. You'll be charged with enhancing operational efficiency, improving campaign effectiveness, and maximizing marketing ROI through innovative Martech solutions and data-driven insights. Collaborating closely with our BI, engineering, and paid media teams, you will ensure our systems and tools are optimized for measuring and improving marketing performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and hands-on expertise, be comfortable navigating complex cross-functional environments, and have a proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through marketing technology and analytics.

Salary Range = 00 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

What You'll Do:
Martech Strategy & Integration
- Lead the development and execution of a future-ready Martech roadmap that supports Bloomberg Media's strategic growth objectives.
- Evaluate, deploy, and integrate technologies across the marketing stack-including MMM platforms, marketing automation tools, analytics solutions, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
- Ensure data governance, privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and seamless integration across marketing and enterprise systems.
- Drive platform innovation in partnership with internal engineering, data, and procurement stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned Martech infrastructure.
Marketing Performance & Analytics
- Define and operationalize performance KPIs, marketing dashboards, and multi-touch attribution frameworks that quantify marketing ROI and inform campaign optimization.
- Collaborate with analytics, finance, and campaign teams to distill performance insights and provide strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
- Lead the development of forecasting models and predictive analytics for marketing programs, with an emphasis on improving efficiency, planning accuracy, and business reporting.
- Ensure performance data is tightly aligned with broader revenue, subscription, and engagement goals, providing clarity around media effectiveness and investment strategy.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Oversee Martech and analytics budgets, ensuring responsible allocation and clear return on investment.
- Lead vendor and agency negotiations, manage ongoing vendor performance, and continuously assess new opportunities to improve Martech capabilities and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Legal and Procurement on contracting and compliance for all marketing-related technologies.
You'll Need to Have:
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing technology, operations, or performance marketing, preferably within a data-driven or subscription-based business.
- Hands-on experience managing complex Martech ecosystems, including MMM platforms, Salesforce, Adobe, Google Analytics (GA4), and CDPs.
- Deep understanding of attribution methodologies, customer journey analytics, and evolving data privacy frameworks.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; fluency with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in cross-functional settings with a track record of delivering scalable solutions and measurable business impact.
