Job Title: Sr. Workato Lead / Integration Architect
Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Workato Lead / Integration Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade automation and integration solutions using Workato s intelligent automation platform. This is a key technical leadership role that will drive the strategy, design, and implementation of seamless integrations across business systems.


Key Responsibilities:

< data-start="715" data-end="746">Architecture & Design:</>
  • Design scalable, secure, and reusable integrations using Workato.

  • Define architectural best practices, governance models, and reusable solution blueprints.

  • Create integration frameworks for enterprise automation initiatives.

< data-start="979" data-end="1017">Development & Implementation:</>
  • Build complex Workato recipes, connectors, and custom SDK integrations.

  • Integrate applications like Salesforce, Netsuite, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday, Slack, Jira, and databases.

  • Debug, monitor, and optimize integration workflows for performance and reliability.

< data-start="1289" data-end="1330">Leadership & Project Management:</>
  • Lead and mentor a team of integration developers and automation engineers.

  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Drive project execution and alignment with enterprise architecture goals.

< data-start="1556" data-end="1587">Security & Compliance:</>
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance within integration flows.

  • Implement access controls, audit logging, and error handling frameworks.

< data-start="1741" data-end="1773">Stakeholder Engagement:</>
  • Act as a Workato SME for business, IT, and vendor partners.

  • Conduct workshops, demos, and user training sessions.


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of enterprise integration and automation experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on Workato development (Must Have).

  • Strong expertise in APIs, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and Webhooks.

  • Proven experience integrating ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise applications.

  • Experience with Workato SDK and custom connector development (Node.js).

  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workato Automation Pro Certification(s) is a strong plus.

  • Hands-on experience with other iPaaS tools like MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic.

  • Software development or scripting experience in JavaScript, Python.

  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
