IT Project Manager

Title: Project Manager (Financial Portfolio)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong financial and portfolio management expertise to oversee portfolio financials, govern investments, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. This role blends FP&A proficiency with program governance and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio financials including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to ensure fiscal health.
• Align portfolio investments with strategic business objectives through close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the portfolio.
• Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior leadership and key partners.
• Develop and refine portfolio governance processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster cross-functional relationships with business managers, product teams, and finance to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Use PowerPoint, Power BI, and Excel to analyze data, create reports, and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related experience in portfolio management, financial operations, or project/program management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong financial competence: budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills - able to present complex financial data clearly.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile ways of working (Kanban and Scrum).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
• Solid problem-solving skills and experience resolving financial challenges.
• Proficiency with financial modeling and data tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI). Familiarity with Jira and business process mapping tools is a plus.
• Understanding of portfolio management and governance frameworks.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Planview or other portfolio/project tools.
• Certifications such as PMP or PMI-ACP.
• Background in finance-heavy program delivery or FP&A.
